Proto-Ultima #4!

Well we did our fourth Proto-Ultima tonight, and it went extremely smooth! Everyone gathered on time and were all eager to roll!

Usually we have some miss-stuns on Dissipation (AOE full buff-wipe and hate reset), but tonight we were extremely on the ball! Well, we had one miss, but that doesn’t count.

In the past we’ve taken a few too many TP-feeding melees in and had to deal with a lot of WS spam from Proto-Ultima. Tonight we had just one SAM, who was actually being dual boxed by a BLM. Our damage came mostly from BLMs and SMNs and it went extremely smooth. We only had a few problems at the end due to some badly timed Mana Shields (makes him immune to magic damage), but overall, it was amazing.

Our PLDs didn’t go down once, and they did an awesome job staying up even during the Citadel Busters. Pippy resisted them really well, sometimes taking only half damage!

And even though it was a liiiiittle messy at the end – we still came out on top. Well, I came out on the ground, but I took that bastard down with me!

Ayaa Adventurer Appreciation!

It’s that time of the year! The Moogles are back in town and telling adventurers are the sordid details about their history in Vana’diel. Here’s Ayaa’s stats!

Ayaa was created in April 2003, I believe. She was my 2nd character (first one was “Aaya”), another Hume F. I’m pretty surprised at my low number of KOs considering I love leveling tanking jobs (NIN75 WAR75 PLD66) and the fact that I do a lot of “low-man” events with my friends and Linkshell. I’m pretty proud at the enemies defeated though! And “wow” at my chat frequency!

Other than that, tonight was a big wash. We didn’t have much luck in sky snagging our remaining triggers for a big round of Gods tonight. We had all but two – grabbed Steam Cleaner on first pop, but farming diorite for two hours with not a single drop sure blew. We tried a Seiryu before we ended the night and due to some mishaps ended up wiping to it. Oh well, c’est la vie. There’s always next time.

And it starts again…

THATS AYAA! Played by a super nice guy <3 I met him a year ago and we have been hanging around a lot since months! Hes my hero! He always helps me out and wastes most of his freetime around me and he also has to endure my shitty playing lol D:! He told me to blog again so I’m doin it :3 He also speaks some Japanese, so he helped me pick the name which means Rorripop so Lollipop highly inspired by Mika’s song XD I really hope he posts a lot so this blog gets some life kwikly!

Lotsa other things happened but I am going to write straight about today!

Today the new anniversary rings got given out and after my parents told me about them I got mine right away. I used its first use on my Paladin 32 and since my exp ring was on its last charge i cheated out 2 in a row of it and the refilled one. So now after a few rather horrible parties my paladin is 35.

Since I’ve been planning to do some Nyzul Isle runs with my lol-floor-5 disc I begged Ayaa to come do some with me. With him accepting I gathered enough courage to ask my Linkshell and got 3 members to join while Ayaa brought a RDM friend with him.

It went pretty smooth with WHM, RDM, BLM, WAR, SAM, BRD even though I felt kinda useless as Bard since people split up >_< I think I would’ve been more of a help as monk but anyways
When we reached Floor 10 I accidentally hit ok when we had like 9 minutes left and it was a kill all enemys floor. So we started fighting, had about 4 monster left at 1 minute mark lol

So we made it luckily! Everyone sounded like they really enjoyed that run so were going tomorrow again if everything works out! I’m thrilled and cant wait!
